Chairman
Nick Hudson is an actuary with broad international experience in finance, who has settled into a career as a private equity investor. He is a man of wide-ranging interests—an avid reader of canonical literature, a classical music aficionado, and an enthusiastic amateur ornithologist. He has been invited to speak on various topics including epistemology, corporate governance, investment management, and more recently, the pandemic.

Peter Castleden 🇿🇦
Actuary
Peter Castleden is an actuary with broad management experience in financial services and technical actuarial experience primarily with Life Insurance. He is a family man with four young children who has interest in history, business, emerging technologies, behavioural economics and problem solving.

A former director of Allied Publishing (media distribution) and 21st Century (remuneration consulting). Jonathan started his career in clinical medicine. After a few years, he moved into the Pharma Industry, designing and running an international clinical trial program, before he and a colleague spotted a gap in the market for a company utilising IT to automate several clinical trial processes. The company they founded was sold, it had 6 offices worldwide and 500 employees. Jonathan then retrained as a lawyer, but having missed the commercial world he invested in several Healthcare start-ups, one of which (involved in cancer diagnostics) he now chairs.

Todd Kenyon 🇺🇸

Todd brings a wealth of knowledge and a range of expertise to the PANDA panel. He has a PhD in Marine Biology, a BS in Mechanical Engineering, is a Charted Financial Analyst and a patented inventor and entrepreneur. Todd has a keen interest in endurance and water sports.

Piers Robinson
expert in propaganda and politics
Dr Piers Robinson is a co-director of the Organisation for Propaganda Studies and was Chair/Professor in Politics, Society and Political Journalism, University of Sheffield, 2016-2019, Senior Lecturer in International Politics (University of Manchester 2010-2016) and Lecturer in Political Communication (University of Liverpool, 1999-2005). He researches and writes on propaganda, media, international politics and conflict.

He has been a guest lecturer and public speaker internationally on issues pertaining to orangutan conservation, He also founded, and managed, multiple non-profit businesses to fund environmental, conservation and animal charities.

After 30 years of primary care experience, Dr Randall Bock has turned to medical writing, and consultancy in business. He graduated from Yale University with a BS in chemistry and physics; University of Rochester, with MD. Prior to THIS pandemic, he investigated the later, mysterious quiet subsequent to 2016’s Zika/microcephaly uproar. He has an active podcast on the subject, “Zika, remembered”, which may debunk some of the established conceptions. Randall aims to promote rational thought and debate . He has a weekly “Coronavirus Conversation” Facebook-Live session.

Heike helps coordinate PANDA’s Communication Team. She is an alumnus of WITS University, a trilingual stage/screen actor, voice-over artist, writer and editor. She worked with Afghan child refugees in Paris and volunteers with former street children in Cape Town.

Michael is a musician/writer hailing from Toronto, Canada. A lover of history and the arts, he is now active in media relations for PANDA -orchestrating podcasts, debates and interviews with influential figures around the globe.

Sankha Shubhra Chakrabarti 🇮🇳
Associate Professor, Geriatric Medicine
Sankha trained in Internal Medicine (MD) and Geriatrics. His core areas of research are geriatric neuropsychiatry and drug safety for the elderly. He has ongoing research projects in Alzheimer’s disease and elderly pharmacovigilance. On multiple occasions, he has witnessed viral epidemics in the elderly.

David Carman 🇦🇺
Medical Doctor
David has a BSc in microbiology and biochemistry, and an MBChB. He worked extensively with TB and HIV in the 1990s, and now writes and runs Linux systems in health data management. He also believes vitamin D supplementation is vital in the fight against SARS-CoV-2, as well as HIV, TB and a host of other illnesses.

Clare Craig has been a pathologist since 2001 in the NHS in the UK and more recently as the day to day pathology lead for the cancer arm of the 100,000 Genomes Project and working for an AI startup in cancer diagnostics.

Dr Herman Edeling
Medico-legal expert
Dr Herman Edeling obtained the M.B.,B.Ch. Degree at Wits in 1975, qualified as a neurosurgeon in 1992 and spent the next 16 years in private general neurosurgical practice. Since 2008 he consults in medico-legal neurosurgery, having written more than 3700 reports and testifying in over 230 in court matters. He is passionate about the inter-relationships between law, medicine and related sciences.

Marta Gameiro 🇵🇹
Dentist and Medical Activist
Marta is a dentist, with a postgraduate degree in advanced endodontics. n April 2020 she helped moderate a Facebook group called #sairdecasa. In August 2020 she was one of the founders of the group “Médicos pela Verdade Portugal”. Marta influences social networks by collecting credible scientific information and articles and making ”the other side of the story” available and accessible for people to read.
Marta also translated “The Great Barrington Declaration” into Portugese.

Marc Girardot 🇫🇷

Marc is the father of 4 children. He holds an MBA from INSEAD, as well as Ms. in Economics and Business from ESSEC. He has deep experience in innovation and complex systems, working for Cisco, Booz Allen and Air Liquide. A seasoned strategy consultant trained in the scientific method with experience in Automotive, Biotech and Energy, Marc is a regular lecturer and keynote speaker at leading business schools and corporations. In recent years, Marc has supported a promising anti-cancer DNA vaccine company. On Covid-19, Marc has written a number of articles highlighting the interactions of population density, cross-immunity and mortality. Marc aims to help contribute to a more balanced science-based perspective on COVID-19, to mitigate the harm done by fearful policies.

Todd is a practicing Jungian psychotherapist in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada. He is a researcher and writer focusing on topics in psychology, ancient Egyptian Khemitology, humanity, and spirituality.
Todd believes that to be fully human we must have one foot in a non-material realm where we find meaning, purpose, love, and connection with the world around us. The other foot should be in the pursuit of truth and understanding of the physical world we live in—science.

Carey comes from the Aviation / Tourism Sector and held the role of Sales Manager for a Global Carrier. She has had first-hand experience of how the lockdowns have decimated the Aviation and Tourism sector and has been directly impacted by the lasting effects in her own career, as well as witnessing the devastation of the lives of her industry colleagues.

Cherry trained as a nurse. Over the last 30 years, she has worked for the NHS and strived to increase her knowledge and understanding of evidence-based practice. Seeing the negation of established knowledge of viral pathogenesis has saddened her. The erosion of the foundations and principles of the NHS concerns Cherry deeply.

Ivan Iriarte 🇵🇷

Ivan is a medical doctor who has spent most of his professional career as an educator, teaching Family Medicine, Preventive Medicine, Epidemiology and Medical Ethics. He has also supported medical residents of different specialties, to accomplish the requirements to complete research projects, mostly in hospital settings. Ivan has provided support with issues such as study design, IRB application and analysis of study results. In addition to his professional activities, he is a serious musician.

Manigreeva Krishnatreya 🇮🇳

Trained as an otolaryngologist and head and neck surgeon, Manigreeva has over 10 years experience in cancer research. Dr Krishnatreya began working in rural India treating TB and other infectious diseases. Since March 2020, he has advocated Vitamin D supplements for vulnerable patients. He has a deep interest in immunology and believes that T-Cell mediated immunity is key to beating Covid-19. Manigreeva’s concern is about the catastrophic consequences of lockdowns, the disruption to cancer screening and treatment, the devastating consequences of chronic diseases and the decline in vaccinations for children in developing countries.

Ralph commenced practice at the Cape Bar in 1995. When advocates still did “pro deo” cases he appeared in several murder trials on behalf of indigent accused persons. In 1996 he joined the Johannesburg Bar and continued to practice there until 2010 when Ralph rejoined the Cape Bar until his resignation in 2019. He now practices independently and has been involved in commercial litigation, labour matters, personal injury matters, insolvencies and asset forfeiture matters.

John Lee is a retired English pathologist and NHS consulting pathologist. He was clinical professor of pathology at Hull York Medical School and consultant histopathologist at Rotherham General Hospital, before becoming the Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust’s Director of Cancer Services.

Jacques is currently a doctoral candidate at Edinburgh Business School, but spends most of his time programming mathematical models on computers. He has lived and worked in seven countries, over 20 years, including a two-year stint in Silicon Valley (working on leading edge AI and ML models). Jacques has a passion for smart IT and loves creating sophisticated systems.

Kevin McKernan 🇺🇸
Chief Scientific Officer Medicinal Genomics, Microbiology, DNA Sequencing
Kevin holds a B.S. in Biology from Emory University with a focus on cloning and expressing Norepinephrine Transporters. He is the CSO and Founder of Medicinal Genomics and has pioneered the genomics of cannabis and hemp to build a stronger scientific environment for the study of cannabis based therapeutics. Kevin also managed the R&D for the Human Genome Project at Whitehead Institute/MIT resulting in several patents for nucleic acid purification.

Oliver is an Associate Professor of Psychology at the University of Greenwich, London, UK. He has written an interdisciplinary review of lockdown policies that evaluates biomedical, economic, psychological and ethical research on the topic. He passionately believes that a multidisciplinary evidence-based approach to lockdowns and other Covid-19 government interventions is necessary to counteract the distinctly narrow, propaganda-heavy perspective that dominates the discussion at a political and mainstream media level.

An avid tennis player and reader of history, Stacey lives with her husband, two daughters, and one Cockapoo in Short Hills, New Jersey.

Joel is Chief Technology Officer of Supermoney Ltd, a blockchain technology company. He started his career as a proprietary derivatives trader at JP Morgan Chase before becoming a quantitative analyst at TP ICAP and consultant to ITO33 in Paris. He also has experience as a biotechnology analyst at BioLauncher Ltd covering a range of businesses including resorbable polymers, biosimilars, oncology diagnostics and ultrasonic dermatology. He is a specialist in time-series and stochastic data analysis.

Helen has a Masters in Public Health and 20 years experience in public health programme management in Australia and overseas. This includes infectious disease surveillance, outbreak response, tuberculosis control, viral hepatitis and vaccination programs. She specialised in child health programmes and currently volunteers in impoverished communities in Cambodia. During the 2009 Swine ‘flu pandemic she worked with her local Health Authority and recognizes many of the same politico-media influences that manipulate public health responses. Helen aims to contribute her skills and experience to using a principled, evidence-based approach to Covid-19.

Dr Jonathan Witt is a medical practitioner working in the field of Anaesthesia and Critical Care. He is a passionate communicator, a skill which he applies as a medical educator as well as on various media platforms including the acclaimed current affairs podcast, the Renegade Report. He is well known for his steadfast opinions and views on a wide range of political, economic and sociological topics. Dr Witt is an executive member of the Convocation at the University of Witwatersrand, is the current Chief Commissioner of St John South Africa, and is the former Chairman of the Resuscitation Council of Southern Africa. Jonathan lobbies for thoughtful data driven actions which take into account medical, economic and political outcomes.
