David Carman 🇦🇺
David has a BSc in microbiology and biochemistry, and an MBChB. He worked extensively with TB and HIV in the 1990s, and now writes and runs Linux systems in health data management. He also believes vitamin D supplementation is vital in the fight against SARS-CoV-2, as well as HIV, TB and a host of other illnesses.
Shayne Krige 🇿🇦
Shayne has over a decade of experience as a corporate lawyer in Europe and has spent the past nine years practicing in South Africa. He is currently a director in the corporate law department of Werksmans Attorneys, and has worked on a diverse range of cases including major corporate restructurings, saving butterflies from extinction, assisting victims of police torture and setting up a well-known online start-up.

Ian is currently the managing Director of Silver Fox Consulting, a firm specialising in data analysis to inform strategy. A former director of Allied Publishing (media distribution) and 21st Century (remuneration consulting). Currently residing in the “Big Smoke” (Johannesburg) but escaping whenever possible to indulge in twitching.
Ian joined PANDA as he believes meaning and purpose is lost if we remain silent on things that matter.
Russell Lamberti 🇿🇦
A self-professed Austrian economist, Russell is the founder and Managing Director of ETM Macro Advisors, an investment advisory firm based in Cape Town where he also resides. He is also the co-author of ‘When Money Destroys Nations’, a book about Zimbabwe’s hyperinflation crisis.
Russell joined PANDA at the outset to help provide clarity over the economic impact of lockdowns and to help strengthen the analysis of the immense harm and inappropriateness of lockdowns. Russell remains with PANDA to help equip societies with the knowledge to live courageously and resist such damaging policies in future.
Carey Haynes 🇿🇦
PANDA - Operations Coordinator
Carey comes from the Aviation / Tourism Sector and held the role of Sales Manager for a Global Carrier. She questioned lockdowns from the start and although accused of choosing lives over livelihoods, believed that neither could be separated. She has had first-hand experience of how the lockdowns have absolutely decimated the Aviation and Tourism sector and has been directly impacted by the lasting effects of lockdowns in her own career as well as witnessing the devastation of the lives of her industry colleagues.
Carey joined PANDA as she resists the current narrative and will not accept that there is anything normal regarding the current protocols placed on children. Being a mom makes this even more critical.

Vincent is Managing Director at Differential Capital. He has close to 15 years of experience, primarily in the investments and insurance sectors. As an equity research analyst during this time, he was highly rated (top 3) in the Financial Mail rankings for research in Banks, Real Estate and General Financials sectors. Vincent’s current area of expertise are in blending traditional fundamental analysis with machine learning techniques.

Abir has a background in public health, psychology, and education. She’s been a passionate advocate for the inclusion of students with learning difficulties in schools. She has also published 27 children’s books in Arabic. She is very concerned for the wellbeing of society, particularly the children and the elderly. She fears the deleterious effects of the economic downturn on the world as a whole, but more so in developing countries.
Abir joined PANDA in September 2020, with the hope of fostering an international movement that counteracts the predominant unscientific narrative behind government policies.

Roy joined PANDA because he believed the world’s public health response to SARS-CoV-2 to be the greatest iatrogenic catastrophe in modern history. He understood that a false and one-sided narrative around Covid-19 had taken root and was pervading society and that medical science, with the help of the mainstream media, was complicit in this propaganda and fear-mongering.
Heike Brunner 🇿🇦
Heike joined PANDA in April 2020, deeply concerned about the impact of lockdowns and the accompanying fear-mongering, guilting and shaming on children and marginalised youngsters. Heike worked with Afghan child refugees in Paris and volunteers with former street children in Cape Town. She helps coordinate PANDA’s Communication.
Rowan Burger 🇿🇦
Rowan has over two decades of experience as a specialist in the pensions and investments areas in a number of large financial services organisations. Rowan has a passion for improving financial inclusion and the financial welfare of South Africans. He is involved in policy formulation and a regular participant and commentator within the retirement savings environment.
In times of uncertainty we need clear heads to make informed decisions. The dire consequences of the lock-down did not feature in the national discourse and the PANDA team were passionate and more than capable to better frame our national (and now global) response.
Clare Craig 🇬🇧
Clare Craig has been a pathologist since 2001 in the NHS in the UK and more recently as the day to day pathology lead for the cancer arm of the 100,000 Genomes Project and working for an AI startup in cancer diagnostics.
Clare Joined PANDA because she believes that our actions as a society have killed and are continuing to kill more people than COVID ever did. As a diagnostics expert Clare recognises the mistakes that have been made and wants to shout about them.
Dr. Jonathan Engler 🇬🇧
Doctor and Medical Investor
Jonathan started his career in clinical medicine. After a few years, he moved into the Pharma Industry, designing and running an international clinical trial program, before he and a colleague spotted a gap in the market for a company utilising IT to automate several clinical trial processes. The company they founded was sold, it had 6 offices worldwide and 500 employees. Jonathan then retrained as a lawyer, but having missed the commercial world he invested in several Healthcare start-ups, one of which (involved in cancer diagnostics) he now chairs.
Jonathan joined PANDA in response to disturbing international developments in 2020. He considers the need to promote honest science, open borders and personal autonomy to be vital to the future of humanity.
Marc Girardot 🇫🇷
Marc is the father of 4 children. He holds an MBA from INSEAD, as well as Ms. in Economics and Business from ESSEC. He has deep experience in innovation and complex systems, working for Cisco, Booz Allen and Air Liquide. A seasoned strategy consultant trained in the scientific method with experience in Automotive, Biotech and Energy, Marc is a regular lecturer and keynote speaker at leading business schools and corporations. In recent years, Marc has supported a promising anti-cancer DNA vaccine company. On Covid-19, Marc has written a number of articles highlighting the interactions of population density, cross-immunity and mortality.
Marc joined PANDA to help contribute to a more balanced science-based perspective on COVID-19, to mitigate the harm done by fearful policies founded on ungrounded hypotheses and unscientific approaches, and to accelerate our return to normalcy.
Grant Gallagher 🇺🇸
Science Journalist, Editor
Editor and social analyst with experience writing about biotech, pandemics (Ebola, HIV, SARS-CoV-2), and contradictions in the relationship of politics to civil society. Grant worked at an infectious disease publication at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic and became involved with PANDA after interviewing Dr. Martin Kulldorff.
As a cancer survivor, Grant is personally invested in supporting experiences of normalcy and social connection for children with cancer through volunteer organizations like Camp Quality USA.
AJ Kay 🇺🇸
AJ is a mom of four and a freelance writer with a background in psychology, research, education, marketing and non-profit healthcare. Narrative writing is her passion and she believes that storytelling is how we make sense of our lives and, ultimately, change the world.
Working with PANDA, AJ hopes to give voice to those disproportionately affected by global-suppression-efforts-turned-human-rights-violations and help bring awareness to the devastating consequences of widespread lockdowns, especially in developing countries.

Manigreeva joined PANDA as he is deeply worried about the catastrophic consequences of lockdowns, the disruption to cancer screening and treatment, the devastating consequences of chronic diseases and the decline in vaccinations for children in developing countries. He believes that lockdowns play no part in either preventing the spread of Covid-19 or lowering mortality.

CEO of Optisol Australia, working on IoT and AI products. Jacques is currently a doctoral candidate at Edinburgh Business School, but spends most of his time programming mathematical models on computers. He has lived and worked in seven countries, over 20 years, including a two-year stint in Silicon Valley (working on leading edge AI and ML models).

A former radiographer, Emma moved from the UK to South Australia in 2007. Following a career break to raise her family, Emma completed a Master of Social Work. She has worked in the fields of homelessness, mental health and counselling for survivors of childhood sexual abuse.
Emma joined PANDA in November 2020 to voice concerns about the ongoing impact of lockdown policies on societies’ most disadvantaged, as well as upon the wellbeing of our young people. She believes ‘being alive’ is about more than biology, and that policies must incorporate the psychosocial and spiritual welfare of all citizens.

Denis has a PhD and is a researcher, retired from academia. He was a tenured Full Professor of Physics, University of Ottawa, Canada, where he led a nationally-funded interdisciplinary laboratory for two decades. He has published over 100 research papers in peer-reviewed scientific journals in the areas of measurement science, theoretical physics, chemistry, geology, biogeochemistry, materials science, soil science, and environmental science. His recent reports about COVID have been read approximately 1 million times, and his interviews, have been viewed more than 2 million times.
Denis joined PANDA to interact with scientists and health professionals concerned with the responses of governments and institutions to the globally coordinated COVID-19 political and public-health episode.

Stacey Rudin is a writer and activist and runs PANDA’s Legal Network. Stacey writes for the American Institute of Economic Research and others in support of freedom, human rights and democracy. Her work with underprivileged communities and in the justice system informs her activism against lockdowns and open-ended “emergency” declarations.
An avid tennis player and reader of history, Stacey lives with her husband, two daughters, and one Cockapoo in Short Hills, New Jersey.
Janet Schuiling 🇿🇦
Janet spent 17 years in the Oil and Gas industry, analyzing data in search of exploration prospects. A large part of her role was determining risk and volumetric uncertainty for these exploration targets which were easily 2km underground. Her assessment of risk and reward would help determine the commercial feasibility of an exploration campaign. Janet is comfortable in the world of data analysis, risk assessment and uncertainty.

Joel is Chief Technology Officer of Supermoney Ltd, a blockchain technology company. He started his career as a proprietary derivatives trader at JP Morgan Chase before becoming a quantitative analyst at TP ICAP and consultant to ITO33 in Paris. He also has experience as a biotechnology analyst at BioLauncher Ltd covering a range of businesses including resorbable polymers, biosimilars, oncology diagnostics and ultrasonic dermatology. He is a specialist in time-series and stochastic data analysis.

Dr Jonathan Witt is a medical practitioner working in the field of Anaesthesia and Critical Care. He is a passionate communicator, a skill which he applies as a medical educator as well as on various media platforms including the acclaimed current affairs podcast, the Renegade Report. He is well known for his steadfast opinions and views on a wide range of political, economic and sociological topics. Dr Witt is an executive member of the Convocation at the University of Witwatersrand, is the current Chief Commissioner of St John South Africa, and is the former Chairman of the Resuscitation Council of Southern Africa. Jonathan lobbies for thoughtful data driven actions which take into account medical, economic and political outcomes.
